Hey there — I’m Sean.

I believe that software should make life simpler and more empowering. I build software to help people feel more capable, break down barriers, and explore what’s possible when tools are designed to serve, not frustrate.

For years, I’ve been working to make this idea real. I lead a small but focused team of developers, crafting web and mobile experiences in the automotive industry that put users first. Outside of that, I’m the Technical Lead for Xubuntu and an active contributor to Xfce and the Ubuntu community. I love sharing what I learn, whether it’s the latest open source release, a fresh perspective on making software better, or simply a story about what’s working (and what isn’t) in the world of tech.

My path here includes a Computer Science degree from Berea College, time in QA, and a lifetime of side projects that taught me how to build, refine, and share. I’m not just passionate about clean code and good design — I’m driven to help others grow, and I’m always ready to tackle a new challenge. I’ve learned that when we’re honest about our journeys and generous with what we know, we all get better together.

If you’re curious about open source, want to stay up-to-date with the latest in Linux and thoughtful software design, or just want to hear from someone who’s spent years turning big ideas into practical tools, you’re in the right place. I share insights, tips, and reflections here because I believe knowledge should be shared, not hoarded. And if that helps you in your own work — even better.

If you’d like to support what I do, you’ll find ways to pitch in. If you’re looking for someone to bring a spark to your next event or need a fresh voice in your community, I’m always open to new conversations. Find me on GitHub or LinkedIn.

Let’s keep building something meaningful together.
