After three months, my certificate of Ubuntu membership finally arrived in the mail. Looks like I’m official now! This means I’ve got access to several membership perks, including:
- An
@ubuntu.comemail alias that forwards to my real email address. - An
ubuntu/member/your_nickcloak on Libera.Chat. - Syndication on Planet Ubuntu of my Ubuntu blog.
- An Ubuntu Member title at the Ubuntu Forums.
- SFTP access to a Web-accessible directory on people.ubuntu.com
- A certificate signed by Canonical CEO and sabdfl, Mark Shuttleworth (see above).
I’m going to love this.
